Deine Aufgaben

  • Develop the next generation of Direct Air Capture technology by modeling, validating, and optimizing the carbon capture process.
  • Perform CFD analysis to predict and improve air flow across systems, from small filter structures to large plant architecture.
  • Work closely with mechanical design teams to help create new structures, vessels, and plant layouts, providing important data like pressure and velocity conditions.
  • Drive improvements for CFD models and develop new simulation techniques with external partners.
  • Plan, carry out, and evaluate validation measurements, working with Testing teams to make sure models are strong and accurate.
  • Share results and findings clearly with your team and present them in technical reviews.

Was du mitbringst

  • At least 5 years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics as a process, mechanical, or aerospace engineer.
  • Strong background in thermodynamics, porous media, airflow, or thermal energy modeling.
  • Experience running CFD simulations and understanding fluid mechanics and complex gas phase systems.
  • Skilled in Ansys Fluent/CFX and geometry meshing tools like Workbench, Fluent Mesher, Discovery, or Space Claim.
  • Proactive, innovative, and able to work well with others across different teams.
  • Ready to take on challenges and try new ideas.
  • English language skills are required; no other languages needed.
