You will play a key role in building our data infrastructure and supporting our move to a cloud-based analytics system, working closely with teams in Spain, Switzerland, and the UK to deliver reliable financial data for reporting and decision-making.

• Work with business stakeholders to turn their needs into technical solutions
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and prototypes for analyzing large sets of transactional data
• Develop and improve solutions using Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency of financial data
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues from start to finish
• Collaborate with IT, architects, and analysts to follow platform standards
• Document data flows and help improve data processes
• Develop and improve a central cloud data model for standard analytics across countries

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field with strong interest in finance, data, and technology
• Experience as a Data Engineer in a business-facing role
• Experience with Databricks, Azure, Python, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory
• Experience working with financial data and data quality controls
• Ability to turn unclear requirements into practical solutions
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD and attention to detail
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience using AI/ML to improve data quality or analytics is a plus
